The place
The most of staff, very unfriendly, but a couple of people that on the contrary were really nice

Comfy bed, great rooms. My husband and I were travelling with mum and had to book a triple as that was all that left. However they had some cancellations and organised for us to be in our own room the whole time! Some fun activities like a free tango class and awesome bbq. Would stay here again.
If I had to choose something I guess the shared bathroom? There were very tiny bathroom stalls, and some normal large bathrooms. Mostly I used the large bathroom on the ground floor and it was usually a bit dirty. Not a huge deal - just wear flip flops!

Great atmosphere and friendly staff. The rooftop terrace was a lovely spot to relax and socialize. The location was key, close to all the city attractions and a short ride to the nightlife. the working internet and nice breakfast in the morning were a plus.
The staff could have been friendlier, and our room was loud and had no windows, making it difficult to sleep at night. The towels were not changed during our four-day stay, and the bathrooms were old and unclean.

No tourist exchange rate, quiet private room, functioning fan, decent location, large bed, well-proportioned communal areas.
Nothing it was perfect.

The location of the hotel was really convenient, with plenty of attractions and convenience stores nearby. The double room on the first floor had a comfortable bed, working air conditioning, and a private bathroom with hot water. The staff were friendly and helpful, offering English-speaking assistance and the option to book excursions. Additionally, there was free wifi access throughout the hotel.
The lock on the dorm room door was broken, but this was a minor inconvenience compared to the overall positive experience.

The Art Factory had a great location, situated in the historic San Telmo neighborhood and close to the metro station and Plaza de Mayo. the mixed dorm room was clean and equipped with both a fan and air conditioning. the breakfast was satisfying, with options such as cooked eggs available. the hostel offered organized activities and had excellent wifi.
The kitchenette was quite small, making it difficult to cook comfortably.

I recently stayed at Art Factory in San Telmo for a week-long vacation. The location was perfect, with great restaurants, a bike rental place, and popular sites within walking distance. I felt very safe during my stay. Despite some reviews mentioning noisy beds, I didn't have any issues with that. The staff was excellent, providing helpful service and assistance. The hotel itself had beautiful decor, a rooftop terrace with a bar, and a lovely dining room for the buffet breakfast. The free WiFi and use of computers were also a plus. a great experience!
Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

Our stay at Art Factory was fantastic! We spent two nights here and wished we had stayed for our entire trip. The owner was friendly and accommodating, ensuring our late check-in was seamless. The double room we had was comfortable and had a cool art deco vibe. The showers were always hot, and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The atmosphere was laid-back and interactive, with a rooftop hammock and communal table where we met people from all around the world. The location was convenient, close to the main avenue and San Telmo. a great experience!

the location was amazing and the hostel had a great atmosphere. They organize lots of activities, making it easy to meet other travelers. the hostel also had a big common area, perfect for socializing and having a good time. the staff was helpful and the hostel had beautiful paintings on the walls. I especially liked the lockers inside the room and the fact that they offered a variety of activities like tango class, BBQ on the terrace, and graffiti tours. it was a great place to bond with other travelers and the staff provided useful information on getting around the city. Cons: Can't fault anything about it. 👍.
